Ls 408 Camaro

I went to a local Sam's Club here in Ma today and saw this Camaro. Its the second time I saw it and I didn't remember to see if its a 67 or 68 The car is beautifully done. The guy said he did the car but had the short block build. Its an iron 408 twin turbo it makes 1179 at the wheels at about 25 lbs of boost on pump gas. I kept looking at the engine and never looked inside, to see if its an auto or a stick. He did something interesting with his breather for the motor, if you look at the back of the motor you can see the breathers on a painted tank. He has the tank self drain back into the motor if any oil gets in it. He said it works good. If I see it next week I'll have my camera and get shots of the whole car.

Its sad but thats the first picture I ever took with a phone and I didn't have my glasses so I found the app to use the camera by touch. He was leaving when I got there. I'll try to see if he's there next week. I'm a point and click kind of guy but without my glasses I'm a click and hope it was the right button.lol

I think I saw this car at the Bass Pro Shop show at Patriot Place as well. Was it an older guy that owned it?

I saw that car at Sam's club that night too, it has a Jerico in it, I had to look inside just to see what trans was in it. Those are some pretty serious numbers, I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy that night but I couldn't help but wonder what the numbers were. I think the most impressive thing was that he drove that car there unlike so many of the other guys that usually go to that show with the full blown race cars who park the trailers in the next lot over and he probably makes more power than they do.
