Is that all suspension? Bags? Will you be able to drive that on the street? Whats the tire/wheel size? Your wheels are absolutely sick on there.

hey camaroboy69 not a huge fan of the air bag thing the car is on a morrison max-g chassis channeled 4inches with 5inches to the pinch rail which should be plenty, the car was more drag race before(500inch big bloc/t400,welds etc) im keeping the motor for now and purchased tko600 wheels are 19by12and 19by10 with 345/265 best quart (10.1)so anything close will be cool, yea more pics for sure the handy cam not the best have to get a digi thanks for the awsome erplys darrin. also anyone like that scoop?

Thanks for the info. Knowing you got that stance without air bags makes me like it even more!
I believe my car is close to 5" to the pinch rail. I measured it for (Jake)68protouring454 a few months ago but I cant remember what the measurements were. Mabey 4.5" front 5" rear.

hey racerods do you mean the actual wheel tub,it was done in two pieces the curved/radiuised piece was put on to a circle large enough to make two tubs, cut in half then the rolled section butt welded .

Talk about MAJOR MOTIVATION for me to get my a$$ in the garage and get some work done on mine!!!

Keep the pics coming! Looking great!

Awesome work! :faint:

What size rubber / Wheels 'you running again?

I mocked up mine in the car and its a real pleasure to look at on the jig...It will be even better when i make up my mind on the wheels i guess. But your car is really inspiring and representing of what i want it to look like in the end (stance) less the frame...But you really have me thinking about it since i'm still debating my set up (one day i will have to decide i guess...)

At 5 inches from rockers to ground, i also need to build some full custom tubs as i found out last week end...So be it!

well decided to bite the bullett and strip the camaro down and try figure out why the handling is so bad, stripped the diff to find it is 14mm(over 600mm from the center) out of straight so it has 14mm toe in?? and 8mm to wide on the right hand side? so would this cause the the car to handle like it does.

Vince@Meanstreets
05-18-2014, 09:21 PM
14mm (.551181102in) toe in ....I'd say that you are on the right track.

hiwayman
05-18-2014, 09:36 PM
hi vince so would you say its not suppose to be like this the plan is to shorten and straighten so is square, mabe strange had a off day? and morrison cant be botherd to check things
