yeah yeah yeah...another long shot, but I thought I'd check if there's one out there? Without AC is preferable. Thx!

You would think they would be out there with all the guys that buy crate motors or takeouts but end up going with the Vintage Air/Wegner/Billet Specialties setups.

I was planning on buying one from Scoggin Dickey , $825 with a/c compressor.

If anyone else has an accessory drive set up available , I am also looking for one ...

^ yeah Cris, when GM discontinued the non AC kits, Pace upped thier prices because they have to either piece the kit together or sell the AC piece separate.

I checked on the pace site , and they have what im looking for, they do state that the kits are for the cts-v. It looks the same as the vette drive. I just want to make sure it will work.

Secondly, it states that the drive will not bolt to production cast iron blocks. I am running a turbo'd lq4 set up. Do you guys have any suggestions for me on what drive I should run if the Pace kit wont work ?

I'm not sure about the CTS-V drive system, nor the cast iron block issue. There was one guy who bought a CTS system from Jody (I believe) and swaped it out for the Corvette drive? I would first look for the configuration you want to run (i.e. F-Body/Corvette/CTS, high or low aleternator, high or low AC compressor) and research to ensure you will not have frame clearance issues. If you want the Corvette system from GMPP you can search for part# 19155067. Hope this helps!

Im going to go with the ls2 vette (19155067) set up from pace for 800 bucks with a/c . I did some searching and apparently it will work with the cast block, just need to drill and tap a hole or 2, so no big deal. Thanks for your help guys

Shoot me a PM I may be able to help you out if you are still looking for a Vette Accessory drive. There is a vendor I know of who is not a sponsor who can get you the full set-up.

Thanks,
Dave

That compressor will not work with Vintage Air if that is the way you are going.

You will probably want the Kwik Performance bracket to mount the Sanden compressor that VA uses high on the passenger's side.

hmmm , well that is useful info, thanks again. I guess i wont be running ac anymore. I need the compressor to be mounted down low on the pass side. Where the Kwik bracket locates the compressor, it will interfere with my turbo. Windows down all summer i suppose :woot:

If you are running stock subframe, you can notch the cross member & run it low. The VA A/C kit for an LSx comes with brackets that will mount compressor using stock LSx location.
