A good day at the 1/8 th mile drag strip

Had a blast last weekend running my Camaro. This is the first time to the track since fixing my speedometer problem that was causing my 4L60E not to shift (long story)...

Also, first time since the Speed Inc. tune.

Best time was a 7.99 - went slower the rest of the day. I was running in a pack of 5th Gen Camaros from my hometown. My cobbled together LS was enough to push my ET just under the Supercharged Hurst edition coming in at 8.015 for the fast ET of the day out of the 5th gen bunch.

Nice! I have never tried to run my car at the strip with my 19" Nitto street tires. I run them on some MT ET street drag radials. Best was a 7.60 at 93.9 in the 1/8. Going to have to try it one of these days. But with the new stroker BBC I think it will be a serious peddle fest...lol.
