Looking good, Payton!

Do you have the remainder of parts waiting for reassembly?

I was going to go with something a little different...like the paint scheme on www.evolutionmusclecars.com the green and silver one only in black and yellow. I changed my mind, as much as I like the look, in yellow and black it may be over the top. So I am sticking with yellow with the "hockey" SS stripe and I will black out the tail pan like a big block car as shown below.

Yes I do have all of the parts to put it together...except for the dash cluster and door panels. If the Marquez Design stuff is ready, I would like to use it and the door panels.

If all of the planets align and the angels sing it will be finished for the Year One show at the end of April...we will see.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I love the paint scheme on those Evolution cars (are they cars yet or still Kartoons?) but I'm inclined to agree with you. I think the yellow/black in that pattern would be waaay over the top. It might look sick at first, but it would become very dated very fast.

What they have on the site (the green/silver car) works. But its a silver, and a green with a lot of silver in it.

you might PM username evo69

I thought I read somewhere that he had talked about making some of the parts off the car he is building to factory deminsions and selling them...it might be worth a shot!

I am going to try and go by the shop in Feb on my way to Huntsville, Al. If I remember what Mark said, I think the body may be close by that time.

I am digging that hood as well, but at this time none of the parts from those cars will fit a stock 69....but who knows, with enough interest he may make some.

If you remember to do so, please as on my behalf.

Thanks.

ya it would be a seperate deal from what they are doing now....the plug car has been cut every which way possible.......which is to cool

But hey have the ability to make factory fitting carbon fiber parts as well...there would be a strong market for something like that as well!

Yea,

I could have gone for a carbon fiber front clip and deck lid...

Progress is the most important thing. As you know one month becomes two, two becomes three, etc. Both you and I have many years into our projects. The good news is the end is in site.

CF would be sick, and it would fit with the vibe I am going for with my car. But, it would in all reality probably be out of my price range. I'd be more than happy with fiberglass.
