Good job man! How did you get the P up there? :)
Is that the "anchor" tied off the roof?

It looks like it's an inflatable bladder. I'm guessing he drove it on while deflated (flat) and then CAREFULLY inflated it.

Should of let it drown and took the insurance money and bought a real car, like a red corvette.

Just cause that will support the Porsche doesn't mean it would hold up Rosie...

I test drove one (an '11 Turbo drop top) before I took delivery of my S63.... It rode like a truck.... had too much wind noise with the top up... and hunted rabbits on the freeway. For $165K I expect MUCH more. Plus there was no place for my golf clubs let alone a bag of potato chips. :D
Your's is pretty.... I love the looks of 'em... but I was looking for something that went like stink and had more doors.

PPSS ---- ditch the radar detector and have a stealth Laser shifter put in. It's saved my butt half a dozen times already. It has front and rear shifters.... totally hidden... always on.

I found my 996 Turbo --even heavily modded to 700 crank hp -- to be fairly "unexciting" compared to these muscle cars of ours. It only really stimulated me at 130+ mph...

Lemon tree very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet, but the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat... Lemon tree very pretty, and lemon flower is sweet, but the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat...
One day beneath the lemon tree,
My love and I did lie.
A girl so sweet that when she smiled,
The stars rose in the sky.
We passed that summer lost in love,
Beneath the lemon tree.
The music of her laughter,
Hid my father's words from me.

Try getting the words of that song out of your head now for the rest of the day.

Same way I feel about the S63... as powerful as it is... it's crap compared to driving my Nomad. I'm dead serious.

I believe it. Those Germans pretty much make the cars TOO effortless and smooth.
Their build quality is just fantastic though. Gotta give em that.

Dang Greg, you're getting picky in yer old age
I like it Charley. And an S as well...not sure what that entails but I like it!
I'm of the opinion (albeit an unexperienced one) that the 911 Turbo is my idea of the ultimate daily driver.

After having two BMW's, I think Audi has it figured out. I found my 550 Sport to be almost numb. When I autocrossed it, I couldn't feel the rear tires spinning or the front tires pushing. Horrible sports car.
My S4 is just right. Comfortable, but not numb. You feel more engaged, much like the Camaro.

This thing has a launch mode that is like a carnival ride. Activate launch mode, step on brakes, floor it, release brakes and you have a traction controlled 530 hp all wheel drive launch. Runs 10.70's -10.90's in the 1/4.

I've been looking at some used S4's actually as my next potential daily driver.. done the BMW thing already too. Haven't driven the new V8 M3 yet tho. I really like the Audi RS4 but even the 5 year old ones still command $40k-ish.

It's funny that most of the really high hp Porsche guys remove their front driveshaft and diff to make it a poor man's GT2 (RWD). Mine had it removed already when I got it.

I've got a C4s. That thing is a blast in a four wheel slide; as soon as you blip the gas it plants and goes straight. And 140 in 5th w 1000 more RPMs and one more gear to go is very cool.

It helps to have the entire drivetrain over the rear wheels....:unibrow:

I dont know if anyone has noticed the latest round of ads from Porsche, Charley was way ahead of the curve.... I fully expect them to show a guy loading quickcrete into the front seat of one in the next WSJ.
