I logged in here and registered this morning to do a search on Denny Finn because I just met the guy. He's apparently helped a couple Team Camaro members out on Camaros.net (I'm a member there) in the past and used to be Pres and VP of the Columbia River Camaro Club. He owns a restoration shop and his new location is only a mile from my house!
I took my car in to him to look at getting some small paint stuff done and ended up talking for almost four hours. Really, really cool guy. He personally owns 48 classics.
I asked him if he ever used these boards and he said he browses occassionally but just never had the time to really get involved. He's got an incredible amount of Camaro knowledge especially and is really well connected.
His wife, Maggie Finn is a member of the Camaro Disciples group which gives GM direct feedback and input into the design and improvements of the 5th Gen. She had a beautiful 2010 decked out the way I would build one (exactly) parked out front so I took a picture;

He related the story to me of how they were part of the small group invited in to the GM booth for the unveiling of the 2006 Concept at the NAIA in Detroit. He was a blast to talk to, big time Camaro enthusiast.
Anyway, I'm still in the process of having some work done by them but based on what I've seen, they do some amazing stuff. They had everything from a fully customized '71 Challenger worth upwards of $200k to a nearly completely restored '54 Hudson Hornet Sedan in there - which was absolutely stunning by the way. Not to mention 4 or 5 Camaros in various stages, etc.
I'm kicking myself for not taking pictures of all the goodness inside, but I was in shock and awe that this guy was so close to me and I had never really hooked up with him until now. I'll be headed back soon to take some pictures of the projects they have going and report back on the work they've done on my car.
I wanted to register here and share because I felt like it was something small I could do to help them out. I feel great about taking my car to him since they have such a pure passion for Camaros. Denny and Maggie are really great folks and I wanted to pass on their shop's website as an endorsement;

By the way, the Challenger they built, which is up on their site, is being sold. The owner, which lives in Washington, is sending it out to a Mecum auction in the middle of May. So it could be on TV - lol.
I found its listing here;

Note the documented investment of $275,000!!!
Anyway, hello, I'm Adam and all that :)
