Oh sure, I want to have some fun with this one.
If anyone else wants to play, maybe we can really get him going, here is his email addy. Maybe ask him if it is too late to buy the car since you can not find the ad anymore...

OMG , i hate these s.o.b,s i absolutely cannot believe how many of them try to get away with this ... it just amazes me how ebay does not have stricter rules about this , Ebay is an excellent business tool for both buyer and seller alike , but you would think that they would take a little more caution and more steps to stopping these scams, i have sold quite a few biger ticket items on there for the last four or five years and have always had these lurkers trying some b?*&#@!%t , i am a member on a pretty active car forum that has 3 or 4 of these scam alerts everyday ... i do the same thing i try to lead them on to think that they have a sucker and play into it a little ...

I almost bought a 2003 ZO6 corvette for $13k until I found out it was in Freakin Egypt and then I saw another one in Gremany all saying they were regestered in the US. All having only 3 days of tatol bidding and you have to send them a money order of like 3grand then they send you the car and when you get it and see it you would send the rest. Totaly a scam.

I like to make them snail-mail me stuff... postage really is expensive to them, so I like screwing with them and making them spend their money with nothing in return.
