Not sure why I am posting this but something is telling me to do so.

My older brother, Danny, passed away 3 weeks ago today. He was a wonderful brother who was a brilliant, hard working business owner, loveable, spontaneous, thoughtful, giving, and an outstanding "Uncle Danny" to my daughter. He just got his foot in the door in SCCA racing a few years back (business wise and driving) and was having a blast. He spoke of the racing side of his life often. He enjoyed sports especially the Nashville Predators (with season tickets every year) and his passion of racing.

His passing is a tragedy but what hurts the most is not having "Uncle Danny" around while my young daughter grows up. She loved(s) him and sometimes ask if "Uncle Danny" can see us from Heaven...

Sorry to throw out the negativity since we have so much of it in the world today. I know my brother would want me to smile and laugh and not be down and out.

So now I will be dedicating my '69 Firebird build to my brother Danny as well as to my Father who passed in 2004.

Thanks the shoulder.

GOD BLESS

Very sorry for your loss. My wife's family has had their fair share of tragedy over the past several years and it really puts things into perspective.

It sounds like you have a fitting tribute in the works. Good luck with your project - keep us posted on the progress.

Ron, yes he was a great guy. He will be dearly missed.

Brandon, I feel for you and your wife. A sudden passing is very heart breaking and tuff to deal with. Tell your wife to hang in there and to have Faith.

Maybe, because you're among friends:cheers:

You tell her that he can definitely see her from heaven:star:

Ron, sorry to hear of your loss. But, I must say, don't be sad for your brother for he has earned the right to meet his maker. Trust and believe you all will meet again someday. And when you all do, the circumstances will be far greater without any pain and suffering. He is looking down upon you and smiling saying... "Hey, you see that guy there with the 69 Firebird? That's my little brother!" God bless you and your family.

Skipper, friends are great to have and a must and their are no better people than on lateral-g. Yes, "Uncle Danny" is definitely watching her from Heaven. A tribute is fitting and wondering what I can do to the car to make the tribute permanent?

Thanks Ed, Tones, 509, and Fernando.

Hearing from everyone on here means a lot.

I agree with you. I know one day I will see both of them again. I have Faith and I know he is watching as we speck. It's just going to take some time...

Thank you for your kind words.

Happy Thanksgiving Brother. Today is not the same without you. Miss you and miss your after meal snoring on the couch that rattles all the walls in the house.

Sorry about your brother Ron, apologize for not seeing this sooner. My grandma who passed away the day before my son was born 4 years ago always said, "when one door closes, another door opens."

Thanks Corey. Sorry to hear about your Grandma passing before seeing your son. My brother and daughter were fond of each other...Big buddies. She talks about him often. Your right when one door closes another door opens. How is you son?

How's your car coming along? Any new upgrades lately?

Thanks for the encouragement. I know I have to get over it but it's definitely tuff. My daughter keeps talking about him and that makes it more difficult. I have Faith and I know I will see him again one day.

I hear you Ron, I hope its a little easier to think of the good time to offset the loss. I went through it with my older brother. I'll be thinking of you.
Stay strong.

Thanks guys. My spirits have been down this past year with the Firebird build. Not much progress at all. With spring time here and warmer weather I plan on moving forward. Still have a long way to go.

Sorry to hear about your brother Wayne.
