Does anyone live near Sherman Tx? If so have you ever heard/know of Hartwell Motors (dealership). They a decent company or scam place. Looking at a couple cars they have in inventory to redo, but don't want to waste my time flying over if they are not up to par.

I've seen alot of their cars on ebay and craigslist--if they are scamming-they sure remain public--They do seem to describe their vehicles good or bad!! Wish i was closer-would check out for u!!! By the way it is Harwell motors--U know I need to check their feedback on ebay--will let u know---jim

yeah, just alot of the cars seem the have the same stuff. THe couple i was looking at all had what appears to be liquid spray in bedliner in the trunk. Not sure if that was to mask the rotten metal or not. That stuff is pretty thick and probably would do a good job hiding a rusted out floor and you can typically put a screw driver through and make it appear solid. So if it was sprayed both top and bottom a person would never know.

i just looked them up on ebay and they have a pretty good rating.....

i live in sherman and have delt with them on a few occasions and even sold my 69 camaro to them. They have all sorts of cars, everything from rust buckets to extremely nice drivers. ive walked around behind the scenes in their shop and as far as i can tell they are not crooked and are pretty honest. they send out a lot of the "project" cars to local independent shops to get patch panels installed and spot repairs. so i would say they do a fair job to make sure the car isnt going to fall apart on you. basically they take a car, give it a little tlc and flip it. they will tell you point blank that they want everyone to have the opportunity to own an older car. as with any big purchase just go check it out with your own eyes, investigate your main concerns and use your logic from there. i dont think they go out of their way to hide any demons and in my honest opinion i really dont feel like they are out to screw anyone. they are just car guys hustlin like the rest of us.

Not sure if this is the place you are referring to, but if it is there is some pretty good info in this thread.

That is the place. After some more research i have decided to pass on the 2 vehicles there i was looking at. THey were slightly overpriced in my eyes, but figure could negotiate down if they checked out. Looking at the pics some more and talking with them via email i have decided to move on.

Thanks again for everyone's input and willingness to check them out in person.
