As April is coming to a close, which happens to be Autism Awareness Month. My friends James Shipka and Mary Pozzi are about to undertake the One Lap of America. They have decided to use this opportunity to raise money for a cause very close to my heart. I hope that you can find a way to help them reach their $5000.00 goal. Good luck guys!!

Thanks Rob and thanks Chris. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get some momentum over the next week and ultimately meet our goal by the end of the race on the 7th. As Robert said, this is a great cause that needs out support.

Thanks

Thanks for keeping this up front guys! We're closing in on half way to our goal and it would be great if we could meet it by the end of One Lap!

For what it's worth were just driving past Mooresville, NC now (hi DSE!) on our way to Kershas, SC. 1100 miles down, 2500 to go. We're sitting in first in Vintage American but languishing a bit overall after a rough start on Saturday.

thanks and please do what you can to support Autism Speaks!

Thanks

James and Mary

Let's keep the momentum up. They are almost at the halfway point. This is very dear to me for the fact that my boys both have Autism and this is a very good cause. I'm positive you may know someone who is affected with this. Let's support One Lap and Autsim. Go James and Mary!!

Bringing this back to the top.

The 2011 Tire Rack One Lap of America is over but we're still trying to reach our goal for Autism Speaks. We're about half way there and would really like to reach our goal to help this great cause. The OLC Team will be doing a few things over the next while to try to meet those goals and we would appreciate your help.

We'll be starting to take orders for our 2011 T-shirts next week and we are committing $2 from every T-shirt sold to the charity. We'll be starting a post on this later in the week. Brian Stupski at Problem Child Kustoms has penned a really cool design for this year that I hope everybody gets a kick out of.

We'll be having an auction for one of Scott Mock's awesome bare C-6 Camaro subframes which he has generously donated for the cause. I'll have more details on that as soon as I work things out with Scott this week.

As most of you know, while we were running the OLOA we ran in to some issues between South Carolina and Florida and both Detroit Speed and Engineering and Prodigy Customs came to our rescue. In both instances DSE and Prodigy went way above and beyond to help us out and to show our appreciation to both of them, we are donating $100 on behalf of each of them to Autism Speaks.

We would really appreciate your support to reach our goal - please help if you can.
