View Full Version : Trade my PT 67 Camaro for GM Street/Drag car
Looking at trading my 67 camaro built by David Sloan for a GM street/Drag car. I am looking for a street legal car that is set up more toward the straight line. The car must be rust free with good to excellent paint etc. Will consider pre 73 camaro, chevelle, nova, etc. I will consider trades up,down, or even. The 67 camaro is a beautiful, well built car so looking for the same. I have a 69 PT camaro and a 2011 SS camaro and I am wanting to drag racing again so I thought I would see whats out there before I start up on finishing this car. Thanks.

You were planning a on a big stroker BBC for this before right?
I really wanted to buy this car from David last year.... it was just a few months before I was ready.... it's a great platform for someone.
Good luck with the trade.
Out of curiosity, does the car come with a motor, trans, or center section?

Trade him Dave! :)
Thanks guys. It really is a great car and it will get a big block to go with the Motion/Dana vision I have for the car if I go ahead and complete it. I'm just having thoughts of a 10 sec drag week type car. To be honest there are just not any events near me that I could utilize this car to its potential.
I do not have a motor/trans for the car yet but do have a currie center section with true trac and 3:50 gear.
Not really interested in selling the car, just a trade. I know sounds ridiculous, but if I have cash its harder to justify a third car,

Nice car.
All "for sale" ads need a price... Does "trade for" constitute a "price"?:unibrow:

I would still prefer to trade, but purchase price is 28,000.
