I found this site about 6months ago , I 've always had a passion for muscle cars both Aussie and U.S. .
At present I'm working on a 76 LX Holden Torana Hatchback, this will be something a little different for most of you guys .

I'll post a brief description of the car and what's been done to it so far , I will follow up with some current build shots of the project and a few shots of my man caves.

Here goes :

Engine 308 cu .Holden V8, later model Holden VN V8 EFI cylinder heads , Torquepower dual plane air gap hi-rise intake , 670 cfm Holley street avenger carb.
Full engine rebuild; .40 over flat top hyper pistons,10:1 comp , balanced and blueprinted bottom end , hi-vol oil pump, d/row tru roller t/chain, flat tappet .heatseeker cam
.486 lift, custom serpentine front drive, hpc coated tri-y headers.
Ice hi energy billet igition system.

Transmission : 5 speed Toyota Supra W153 with adapter bellhousing , H/D clutch & pressure plate.
Rear end : shortened 28 spline Borg Warner with 3.45:1 LSD centre.
Front brakes : 330 mm Brembo rotors adapted up from a Alfa Romeo 164, 2 piston PBR calipers.

Rear brakes : VN Holden commodore Group A ss rear rotors and calipers ( 300mm vented rotor single piston corvette caliper.

Exhaust : 2 1/4 " tig welded mandrel bent hpc coated , Edelbrock SDT Mufflers , Supertrapp polished s/s resinators.

Wheels : Boyd Coddington Smoothie 2's , 17*8 front , 17*10 rear .
Tires : Sumitomo HZR 245/40/17 front, 315/30/17 rear.

Suspension : pedders 2" lowered coils all round , Bilstien shocks all round, 20mm rear sway bar , 24mm front sway bar, modified stock Holden rear trailing arms. modified Holden front a arms.

Steering : Hyundai Elantra LHD power rack reversed .

Recaro front seats , full custom Eclipse sound system.

Custom fuel tank and fuel pump system.

I've been building this car on and off for the last 5 years ( in between moving house and starting a new job)

At present the body is in primer and I've just finished blocking it down with 800 .
Hoping to have it in paint in the next 3 to 4 weeks .
