Speed Ventures is holding this event. I posted this on PT last year and we had a great turnout and were lucky enough to have Hot Rod Magazine show up and we all got our cars in the mag. Last year I worked a deal with Dave/Speed Ventures for a group rate. I think it was 5 or more and timing was free. Either way, I need to get my butt down there and see if this watts link is going to improve my times or not. Hope to see you there!!

Now that the August El Toro event is cancelled, this may be an option.

Buttonwillow track days are my favorite. A little more relaxed than the NASA events. Get to the hotel Friday afternoon, pick up some cool ones, park some lounge chairs in the outside grassy area behind the hotel, and talk smack with the tuner boys till about 2:00 a.m.. Wake up half way hung over after about 3-4 hours sleep, get some breakfast at Starbucks, drink lots of water, and then hit the track, lol.:D

That makes me tired reading that. :D

When are you heading to Infineon or Thunderhill next?

Working on the Fab53 Camaro Vert cage for this event and many other big track events. It's on my radar.

A couple doses of adrenaline will fix that, lol.

Thunderhill is this weekend. Saturday they are having endurance races and IIRC Sunday will have 7 sessions of HPDE and time Trials. Infineon will be June 11 and 12.

Very cool, hope you get it done on time. I'm going to have to dig up that project update, dont think I've seen it.

No project thread on the Fab53 Camaro build... As time permits I'll start posting more of the Fab53 projects. Including my wifes new "Rainy Day" 67 Camaro "Pro-Touring Rat Rod"
