Here's a current project I we are doing now for a client in Wyoming. It's the typical story, he always wanted a Camaro- but once he bought it, he realized how bad a 40 year old car drives!

We are transforming it using the usual suspects- Speedtech, ATS, Rushforth Wheels, Hotchkis suspension, and Nitto tires

enjoy:D

Very clean car. Your customer is going to be stoked. I am curious, can you tell me what the difference between the Speed Tech control arms is as opposed to Global West?

Man that thing looks good. It looks like Bilstien shocks on the rear, how does the car ride with the shocks and dropped leafs? Are the wheels 18x9.5s on the rear? What size tires did you end up with on the front and rear?
Oh yeah the 80s was a pretty fun time!

I delivered the car to Jackson, WY a few days back...were it snowed!

The owner is thrilled

We finished it up last week with a trick exhaust and a million other details. He is already planning on having some more work done next winter. If you goto my facebook- chris holstrom, you can see the quick dyno run.

here's a pic from yesterday- I had to raise the front a little, tires were too close...hope it settles a littlehttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg268/LS168/John%20King%2067%20Camaro/KingCamaroFinished.jpg

I'm picking up a 72 Firebird in Ft Collins in the morning for a PT makeover- stay tuned!

A good friend and client is back for some more updates. Mainly the 454 was running hot and had some various issues....so we have a cure around here for Big Block issues...A 6.0 LY6 out of a 08 truck with a new Comp cam and an LS3 intake

How'd that engine sling work? I used mine to put the blower motor in Rudy's Camaro and the only thing I didn't like was being able to control "tilt" etc one handed like I can my others. But it was also the only thing that would allow me to install the motor with blower and carbs etc attached... which was kinda nice!

That motor will work real well for him and probably have every bit as much power...

Finished up the LS swap and a small punch list. Took it to a local car show with a few other "shop cars" and loaded it and took it to Wyoming this past week. :D

here is a quick video of a little test drive in the mountains, sorry about the audio
