Just wanted to thank Jon and the crew at Driverz Inc for helping me turn Gwens "winter car" into the "badest all wheel drive car on the planet"!!

LOL -- Tones -- I HATE the looks of the big pig. But that doesn't matter 'cause it's my wifes car. Driverz Inc (Jon) helped me choose a CHEAP wheel (I didn't give a crap what it really looked like) and got a big ol' set of Blizzaks on there.
I was using Al Moreno "baddest on the planet" because every time I think about it - it makes me laugh.

Long story.... This is "our" first Porsche... and it spent half of the first month in the shop. BUT.... always a big BUTT... she loves the car. But this car seems to be a POS so far. And frankly - that was always my opinion of Porsches...
So the jury is still out.
Fit and finish is 'okay' - but there are a couple items that just ARE NOT right - like the A pillar covers (interior)... If you turn the radio off -- you turn off the NAV and everything else that uses that screen (can you spell STUPID)? Car sounds to me like it has an exhaust leak. Did I mention that I think it's a big ol' fat ugly pig?
My S will kick it's ass at anything.... except maybe going up a hill.

No seat massagers, no push button start, no nite vision display. its crap I tell ya!
Just don't let the wife drive the Benz, or you'll get stuck with the porsche.

YUCK!
I haven't let her drive it yet! That "porch cha" is more her style --- a true girlie car.
Let's see if it can rip off a 40.4 auto X! HA! :D

I prefer the X5 myself if I was in the SUV market.... The shape of that Cayenne just ain't doin it for me. And my P-car mechanic friends said the Cayennes are more problematic than most P-cars and to stay away I was thinking about it.... guess that's what warranties are for.

We've been BMW owners since I bought my first 2002 in 1976.... BUT.... the back seat of the X5 sucks bilge water! My buddy has one -- we took a trip, with me (the short guy), in the back -- and I HATED it... super straight up and down back... just not a nice ride at all!
The seats in the P car (minivan really) are wonderful -- and I actually prefer the back over the front!
Now - 'bout that service.... stupid rounded blob has been in the shop more than it's been out... and we're not happy about that. Keeping our fingers crossed that this was just a one time event...

Just saw this thread Greg, and THANK YOU for your business. I, and the guys here very much appreciate it. We work very hard over here at the shop, and its nice, every now and again, to hear good feedback. Keeps us going.

Hey whats wrong with the Touareg...
We got Mrs HRBS a V8 Touareg.
I agree... total girlie yuppie car (SUV, Whatever).
But I have to admit I like taking it out for a beating every once in a while.... the sucker can move. I tell her I have to do it every once in a while to blow the carbon out of the exhaust....

John,
Only for truck tires, that are over 28" in diameter. Otherwise, there are full boxes we ship them in. Same as TireRack.com if you've ever ordered from them.
Greg's tires were a tick over 30" in diameter....
