i want to instal a line lock in my camro. Because i have my brake bias set pretty much 50/50.. burnouts are pretty much out of the question.. not to mention the "shock" the car takes from popping the clutch. Also.. i can use it as a temp E-brake when the car is running if i have to get out of the car.

thoughts??

I have a line lock installed in my car but most I have seen are on momentary switches so I am not sure if you would want to use it while outside the car. I don't see why you couldn't put it on a regular switch though.

you could run the solenoid through 2 switches, one momentary for doing burn outs :unibrow: and one single pole for a temp ebrake. but remember that the solenoid is only for momentary activation so you cant leave it engaged. i would be a little leary about actually getting out of the vehicle with only the line lock engaged

I'm running one. Momentary switch integrated into the end of my billet turn signal lever. I would not consider wiring it in and/or getting out of the car with it as a brake.

all star performance make a hand valve, might be better option as you could mount it under dash and use as line lock or permanent e brake per say
