Hello,
A few of us are discussing organizing a run to Hot Springs AR down HWY 7 (Top ten scenic HWY) starting at Harrison AR. While it will be a beautiful drive we hope to see a few people who enjoy putting their cars to the test:thumbsup:
Beyond just having some fun we are intentionally trying to create a network of G-Machine and pro-touring vehicles in the MO, AR, KS, OK, TN cooridor.
So, if you think you can make it please respond to this thread or to my personal email at
[email protected].
PS*******************All makes and models of all years are welcome************************
Thanks

As I said in the other forum, I'll keep an eye on this. Bad timing for me but if something changes I'll let you know.

Howdy Ben, don't know who you are off hand, but I'd be game if the car (one of them!) is going by then.

Sounds good...send me your email and I'll pass you a simple flyer I made up that you can pass around if you like. --I'm out of Springfield as well--I've got a 64 chevelle--I'll post some pics--maybe you have seen me around town.

I'm in the Little Rock area. I'll see what I can stir up on this end of the pipe.
Oh, 74 Trans Am.

Sounds great! As we get closer I'll get more details. At this point I'm trying to arrange some discounted rooms at local B&B and I thought it would be a blast for everyone to have dinner Saturday night...then everyone can cut out and enjoy Hot Springs...

If staying overnight would be impossible as a result of Easter, please note that several have notified me that they will be leaving the tour once we arrive Hot Springs or when we cross over I-40. That is absolutely understandable! For those of you that might want to attend some type of worship service Sunday morning--a few of us will be attending Cross Gate Church in Hot Springs...I really hope this will be a great networking success so if you have any ideas that might make it better please let me know!

Ben this sounds like a lot of fun. That route your thinkin of, from my understanding will provide a ton of suspension and tire testing. Should also be a beautiful scenic route in the spring through the Ozark Mountains. Count me in. Greg

I personally apologize for having to bail on this but I just received news that I am being promoted by my company and moving to Fort Worth, TX. Of course that is good news for me but the bad news is that I will not be around to organize this road run anylonger. I hope that none of you have made super special arrangements for this and I hope I am giving you plenty of time to change your plans. Thank you VERY much for your interest and I hope interest continues to grow in the southern midwest for our hobby especially via events such as this.
Thanks

It's just as well for me. Got a busted motor now so I wouldn't have been there. Good luck with the job.
