Well that settles that. No more 2nd gen Camaro builds for me. Would you please build a Vega or something? You're killing all hope of "coolness" for some of us. Thought mine was trick until now. I can only dream of building a car to Ring Brothers standards.

All joking aside, can't wait to see the build for this one. These guys are brave and I love it.

P.S. If you tuck everything above the pinch rails I will be proud.

The lower non-RS signal light openings appear to be vertically stretched........future air intakes? I can't imagine the original plastic egg-crate grille is staying, or is it? Can't wait to see more pics of that front spoiler/intake and the subtle touch of the contoured cut outs in the rear bumper to match the tail lights is SICK!!

That would be the battery charge port so you don't have to access the hidden battery. We sell them if anyone is interested.

This car is going to be beautiful. I just have one silly question. What is that tool inside the tire?
wheel backspace tool. You can set it for the width wheel you're going to run, mount a tire on it and install it on the car. The backspacing is adjustable so you can adjust it to get the clearance needed for turning, ride height, etc. Takes all the guesswork out of ordering wheels, you get to test any number of widths and backspaces to make sure they'll clear under all conditions.

Thanks,

Man, I would hate to be West Coast Customs and have to be THAT close the the Ring Bros booth....

Sorry couldn't resist... I really love looking over the RB builds. So much stuff to take in, I seem to find different things at different times. Great stuff. I only wish they had the Camaro done for GG Columbus.

I would really like a pic from the passenger window looking at the Fuel filler tube. I am thinking of doing a similar deal on my Firebird and would love to see how it looks from the inside. I have seen Bailout in person but that interior is more "race" (really really nice race but...) than plush for lack of a better word

Edit: After further review you can see enough detail of the filler tube in one of the pics.

I gotta ask what is the red connector (?) is on the firewall? O, and where did you hide the door handles?

It's the plutonium tank (the fuel tank cap it's just to let people think it runs on normal fuel), and the car is opened by mind, ringbrothers are THAT awesome.

It would have been cool if the horn button was a billet piece to match the fuel filler cap or center locks.

It would kill someone. But it would have been really cool (the billet aprt, not the killing).

Wow Build pictures

I though the "Stork" delivered all of the Rings Car complete. They are just way to nice not to be a Story book build.

just kidding -thank you for sharing

off topic:

How do you have your radiant heat set up in your paint booth? how many BTU's you pushing? you use to preheat or for finish flash?

I still never saw an answer to the question "what's the red knob on the firewall"

and very curious as to the need for the wrap on the headers and radiator hose, was there a serious under-hood temp issue?

I am very happy to see a 2nd gen built to this level, "World Class" !!!!

Sure looks better and more at home outside and in action than it does sitting in a booth at a car show. Great Car!!!!! Saw it at SEMA in 2010 and looked and looked at all of the detail.

The Power Cruise event was pretty cool, 3 days Car Show, Burnout Competition, Off/Street racing and about 3 hours track time everyday. BIR is a nice track to run. I wish they would of had autocross. But this gave me a chance to get a feel for the car, AWESOME, Just AWESOME!!

Never realized RB was in Wisconsin, and since we moved to Madison they are only an hour away. Looks like I will be scheduling a tour!:D
