I'm in the market for a Dart Little M or a World Motown block ( for a new supercharged 406 project).

I've looked at Summit, Jegs, Herbert etc as well as an internet search..... found a wide range of prices..... and a wide range of shipping prices (some as much as $250 just for shipping )....

Anyone have a good, relaible, reasonably priced source ???

I'm alittle apprehensive ordering from a random internet company just because they have the lowest price. You never know who you're dealing with.

I'm in Nor CA, so local would be cool, but then I have to add sales tax too...

Ned you might want to give Mike Lewis a call since he's not far from us:

Jody and Jonny both have had good experiences doing business with him and have mentioned good pricing on components as well. Mike will be doing the machine work for my next buildup.

+1 for Mike.

He's a super nice guy who really knows his stuff and does excellent work too.

Also, the drive up there is a blast (in a fun car) and he'll spend all day talking to you once you're there. I've been up there once to pick up some parts, I need to do it again sometime to visit again and see his new CNC block center. Also gotta say hi to the "kids" again. :D
