Hey Lat-G....this is a feeler thread. I'm thinking of selling my brand new in the box, never mocked up tko 600. This was sourced from Mark Bowler and I paid $2200 for it. It is near Indy with the rest of my car. I'm prob going to bite the bullet and go T56.

What do you think? $1950 plus the ride? You can PM me here or email me @ [email protected]

I also have a Qtime LS -> tko SFI bell if you're interested, but i'd need to get retail for that to be motivated to sell it.

Thanks!

There are 2 other TKO600s for sale here and Pro-Touring and your price is with the same range as theirs. They have not gotten theirs sold as of yet. I think most people are looking for complete kits.

Thanks Mscl. I think there's still a musclecar market for TKOs, it's just that most of the guys we know are searching for something more...

If I was one of you guys selling a tko I think I would post on Team Camaro/Chevelle, Firstgens and some of the other less intensely aftermarket influenced sites. There was a discussion on Team Camaro the other day asking if anyone had heard of Hotchkis! Irrelevant upgrade to the trans in question but I think you get my point.

My $.02

Yeah Marcus, you're a good teacher...

The car is getting closer to the paint booth, so the body shop says!

Thanks Robert, I totally agree. I recently sold a roller shell on Team Camaro so I know it works. I believe there's lots of guys over there looking at a TKOs.

I can't express how much I would like to have a TKO myself:yes: , a friend has one and loves it. Another friend let me drive his 406 sbc/ T56 combo and I was hooked on going manual. I intend to sell my bike come spring to fund a conversion instead of saving or putting it on the evil plastic.

Good Luck with your sale.

PS I spent 1996 in "Paint Jail", My car got bumped by a truck that was going to SEMA:faint: . Seems like nothing has changed; They get into the shop and then we're at their mercy.

^ Man are you speaking my language. I bought a beautiful painted roller. Perfect start to my project. All it needed was a little cutt n buff along with some suspension fab. Then the transport company got ahold of it and damaged every panel. So my four month body and fab shop turned into 10 :_paranoid .....and counting!
