Probably best. They never turn out good. Best to keep cars as the common passion not issues we have little control over.

Those are appreciated. Similarly, I always appreciate hearing perspectives from a mate in Australia.

You and Todd need to meet up at Oregon Raceway Park and have a little friendly competition. I'd gladly come up and be "pit boy" for you two just to witness your cars. http://www.oregonraceway.com/

HA HA! That's why I joined a political forum Blake. It gets pretty brutal in there sometimes as well.
It's mostly all conservatives/right wingers, so we all get along until we get the lurking trolls. Then, it's open season.:unibrow: :D

Sorry. Got carried away!
Back to cars!:lateral:
What exactly would be the best way to cut the coilover mount off the rearend housing that is in the car? It spun a tad bit when we welded it on and it is now a little low in the right rear.

The biggest complaint I've heard of ORP so far (haven't made it there Myself yet) is lack of surrounding amenities and medical. It looks like an awesome course though. They need to get to the phase of the autocross pad as well so us cheap racers can play.

There is talk/planning of a hotel in Grass Valley. The bike events have two ambulances and 5-6 EMT's present. Life Flight out of the Dalles is pretty quick response based on a couple incidents.

The long range plan is good, including Kart/Suprmoto track, dirt track, drag strip, another 2+ miles of faster road course with banked section, paddock garages, and more. Considering the timing and economy it's been a damn good grass roots effort to get it this far. They've had some real players testing there, as the word gets out hopefully the revenue will come and they will start implementing the phases.

There is also another pit area planned which may be applicable to autocross. Bill Murray is the contact.

yea that is a crazy part of the track comming up the front side and you cant see anything but sky. and the downhill kink is pretty fast. the hill on turn5?? is crazy a 90deg turn at the top of a hill and then down into an off camber curve, and you cant see the road

It's bad on a bike, I can't imagine the visual with a hood in the way. T-Hill would be awesome if they would take turn 3 deeper into the infield and bank it vs. off-chamber, then bulldoze 60% of the "Cyclone" (T-5) height. It would really flow then.
