Here's my story and I am sticking to it.. My name is Travis and I live in the great northwest..I have a quite active life in the hot rod ,racecar world around us.. I spent my twenty's working for boeing and ventured out on my own in my early thirties, started my own shop and was part of the big street truck scene from 1995 to 2004, with many builds to my credit and lots of exposure, that decade just wizzed by...honestly I got real burned out on the whole car show and racecar schedule's that drove the shop hours, after a few sema trucks and a lot of hot rods and still seeing there was'nt jak crap in the bank account to show for all the hours , countless weeks where 7 employees got cks and I didnt I finally decided to do something more profitable with my hands. For the last decade I have been working on damaged R.V's and Marine which I like and it pays about 50 dollars more an hour,,,,,with this economy I have now taken on some more cars other then my own projects, with one change , It's just me,,I do get paid now and my attitude is awesome.....follow along as I outline my projects and get to know the lat-G community.. This is my home shop

This is my 70 2wd Blazer ( one of 980 built ) I have owned for 25 years and if this car could talk it would tell stories forever ...I have re-done it 3 times and am having a hard time not tearing it apart again,,,,fortunatly I have another that will get the full road race treatment...

Welcome!
Oldest joke in the biz -- "how do you make a small fortune in the hot rod business? Start with a large one".
Sadly -- mostly true. Unless your name ends with Fesler... :D
I've seen the blazer -- nice.
Too much stuff there for one guy to get any of it finished. Better jack the economy up and hire at least one 'helper'.

Thanx for the kind words you guys..I have been following this forum for a few years and am allways amazed at the amount of talent you guys have out there...Have learned alot following some of your projects and maybe I can show you some of my trik's ...Chris you should know your allways welcome here, bring a boat the lake is at the end of my road !!! Also of note to other northwesters It would appear that a private group has bought the old state patrol academy in shelton and it sounds like its going to be set up for club racing and such..With a roadcourse and dragstrip...they have cleared most of the major hurdles so maybe it will be the real deal..I think the web site is racininmason ?

That would be awesome to be able to run our cars at Shelton.......I have driven that course a few times, usually faster than my driving capabilities
