This bolt in my brake casting (RH side) is stuck The threads on the end is ruined and I cannot get a new nut on the end. Is this threaded? or should I be able to pound it out??

Thanks

Use some pentrating lubricant. AeroKroil is the best. I dont think they are threaded.

Pound it out.

The steering arm bolt is a tight slip fit through the steering arm and spindle, neither of which is threaded (hence the nut). To avoid mushrooming the bolt further and potentially damaging the spindle and steering arm on the bolts way out, I would cut the bolt flush with the steering arm using a friction cutoff wheel and then drive it out with a drift. Some sort of penetrating oil certainly won't hurt matters. I've never had to use heat to get one out, but that would be the next step if plan A ever failed.
