Wow thats too bad, I would've loved to have seen it finished. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the new owner does with it.

Me too Jody, me too.
Man I love this car, stood and drooled over it for a long time at SEMA.
Be cool to buy it as is and finish it. Wonder what the reserve is?

I want that car!!
You'd have to get in line behind me. You know what's funny? After reading the auction which says, "there are over $125k in parts and over 3000 man hours of fab work," there's some guy wishing and hoping he's going to win the auction at $40k (where bidding currently stands.) The funny part is...I'm that guy. LOL!!!! I'm not really bidding. I'm just saying though. What do you guys think the reserve is?

If it's bought, who finishes the car? Did I read that right.

I will try to clear up any confusion on the ad.
I am looking for somebody to buy me out and have Marquez finish the car.My portion will be bought out on Ebay(for much less than 125k).From that point it will be between the new buyer and Marquez to come up with a completion price and date.If no buyer can be found that wants it completed for them I will make the car available as is.

Too bad, I wanted to see it done for a long time. Why was it rebuilt after SEMA anyways? Looked pretty complete that year minus the paint?
I'd have to say this car has to have one of the best stances I have seen for a '69 Camaro

If you look at the SEMA pics closely you will see it was pretty much a rolling shell. The idea was to make it look very close to being done. The pic below is the day before we left for SEMA.

Yeah that ad is very tricky .
So someone can buy it and pick it up ? Is there anything holding it to Marquez ? I mean no shop bill or something hidden here ?
Someone is gonna take a huge loss...
Awesome car ...3000 hrs x50 a hr , OMG and parts ... Holy crap .

There is nothing hidden here,I don't operate like that. It's actually simple....Pascual would like to finish the car since he started it and I am giving him and his shop the first shot at finding a buyer. If the car does not go this way I will make it available to anybody who wants to finish it.Everything goes with the car car including a clean title and no current bill's owed to anybody, all the parts and labor are paid. That would me taking the huge loss...........

very sweet car but your ebay ad is just to much info.you need to word it differently .the way you have it only someone that has followed the build would be interested.too many this will be swapped for that and so on .its very confusing.im just rying to help not bash.if you would like ill write you a template of how the add should read easy to us car guys.hope you hit a homerun bro.good luck.that car is really neat.have you been given a estimate of remaining work to be done?

I actually did not write the add.Like I said in prior posts I am giving Marquez an opportunity to find a buyer who wants to have them finish it.If that Does not work I'm just going to sell it to someone who wants to complete it on there own.Yes,I am losing lots of money but I'm over that.

Sorry to hear this Jon! I still have your rendering hanging in my office...killer build!
Just read the add...WOW there's even more done to it than I knew of! I feel the add needs more pics showing the current state better and all the work done to the back of the car...and interior.

When that happens let us know, you will sell it then!

Thanks Anthony.Yeah I feel the back of the car is one of the best parts of the build. It's highly modified but very subtle at the same time.

Orion is one of three cars that changed my mind about building matching numbers cars forever. I put it right up there with The Mule and a 69 a close friend is going to debut this year. I'm glad you have peace over the sale, having a project or two sitting unfinished can just about drive a car guy nuts so good luck on the sale Johnny.
This is one hell of a car.
My brother and I look over this car for an hour or two at Sema.
