The January Feature of the Month is Mark Lengal's 69 Camaro Convertible. As a long time member, one of our family, it's great to be able to finally feature Mark's project. I can't think of a better (as he puts it) family cruiser.

Thanks Scott, and Thanks to all that was involed. There was alot of people to mention and they did a lot more then my write up says. I had to put something quick together for scott and I did it last night while eating Shrimp,:willy:

Over the years during this build I have met some pretty serious builders that were willing to give me a hand and some great advice. You guys know who you are and what you did for me. Now as I work out all the bugs, expect more phone calls

SEMA has because a meeting place for me, and I gues we can't forget the Laterail G parties were we all met some years ago. My first year I met the Jersey Kid, an Oklahoma Pilot, Some short little dude from Organ and his wife, A Starving artist from Mass, A Cuda bound guy from Callie, the little Taz from Nebraska, a few Hoser's from Canada, oh and who can't forget the retired male gigolo and his pole dancer wife from Florida. It all started from that first Limo ride to the Laterial G party at Sanders and my fist givaway prize from Marquez. at that point I new I was going all they way with this car and I new I had pletty of help . I had atleast two countries backing me up. we were good to go

Somehow I found the time and money over there years and was still able to keep the wife and kids in good standings, you can't get much more support then that. Thanks again for all your help. It could have never been done with out you all!!!!!

Special Thanks to Scott for creating Lateral G, Original plans was a RS, Big block rag top until I found this site! Lets see the first time I called Frank to go over the build the budjet started around 40K and we ended up around $130K in parts and interior :faint: I learned a valuable lesson about finances, just sell more junk around the house

At the end of the day I could give the car away but the friendship stays forevery. It's ok to cry were Family now:lateral:

One of the best, or THE BEST no NON PRO home builts I have seen. The owners a little weird, but hey.............

Congrats on the feature! You turned a Camaro into a car with some real class, and that is no easy task, not to mention the whole build part.

Mark,

Congrats on the feature! I'll look you up in the spring to come up and see the great work in person. It certainly has come a long way since picking up the rotisserie from you in 2009. It has been good motivation for my build.
