69 smallblock didn't use a turbo 400. Used a turbo 350 or powerglide.

the turbo 400 was never offered with a small block. The big block crossmember has the mount offset so the trans/engine will be crooked in the chassis.
You can buy a new one from ebay that looks like a stock one but is made for the small block/turbo 400 combo for $118.00

I just upgraded to TKO-600.
