Well after showing the truck for well over a year and cleaning up on the pretty major awards, It is time to move on. There is over 6000 man hours in the project and the details never end. I have listed the truck on EBAY for all the scammers enjoy. I'm going to try route before I pull the trigger on Barrett Jackson. The truck is located in Bakersfield, Ca. I have it listed at 175,000 on Ebay. That price is not Firm, we can discuss other options for a qualified buyer. This truck cost well over 350K to build and I'm selling it at a price that I think is fair in this market considering what it has done for Ironworks marketing wise.

Good luck Rodger!

I drooled over the entire build of this truck. Seeing it in person after all of the pics did not disappoint.

If I were a wealthy man -- - We'd be talking. Unfortunately for the both of us, I'm just Po' Folk from Indiana.

Thanks guys. It has been a fun experience I have owned the truck since I was 18 years old. I bought it from a co-worker when I was a diesel mechanic at Caterpillar. If I had this truck when I took all those girls out on dates back then things might have turned out differently. Not sure if it would be better.

You if you visited a few liquor store late and night and few banks at closing time, all with a mask on you might be able to come up with the cash. I would hold the truck until you could come get it in 5-10.

HAHA

Thanks again guys

Rodger,You have build a very nice pick up truck. But I think it sell a little quicker if it had a tool box in the bed & and a trailer hitch. Then the truck would be a little more useful to the adverage working guy.  Scott

Well I guess whether it sells or not, almost 11,000 views is pretty good advertisement for business. I have had a few inquiries about having some work done from the Ad.

Come on guys nothing says "Happy New Year" like a black farm truck with no bed floor.

I can't reach the pedals.....

Actually it would fit you perfect. Those cabs are small. Now you might not be able to see over the dash. But you can most definitely reach the pedals. You should see me craw out the window if the cab while it is in the trailer.

The circus comes to town every time we load and unload the trailer.

Rodger doesn't need a winch...Why do you think there is no bed floor?

...He just steps in, grabs the framerails and walks it into the trailer, like using a wheelbarrow.

OK so here it goes for you short trailer boys. When you have a long trailer the distance from the winch to the door is 40ft plus the door is 9 foot because it is a big ass trailer. So now we are at 49 feet to the hook. Well to spool up 49 feet of winch cable is ton. Let alone if you have another car in front of it. My Big Ass Fancy Trailer has air ride and pretty much lays pretty flat with the double folding rear door. Trying to string the winch cable out and pull it is takes a while. When we just hop in the truck drive it in the extra wide custom width trailer I had build, Tie it down and drive Number #2 inside. The other issue is I have a really nice floor in the trailer thatthe winch cable likes to scratch up. Plus my winch is on a remote and trying to get the remote to work from 40-60 feet away is kinda sketchy. It has a tendancy be kinda sketchy on signal causing the winch cable to buck and risk scratching something. I would like to get a fabric winch line but they have a bigger OD, meaning I could put less cable length in the winch.

So the Next time you guys are trying to load you car in your little 24ft cute little box trailer. You can dream about driving into your trailer someday when you grow up and get a MAN'S Trailer.

Believe it or not, We have out grown this Truck and Trailer. I need to be able to haul more chassis's around this year. I'm looking at getting away from showing anything Construction wise and just pushing our chassis line. The custom Fab shop stays pretty busy and we want to continue pushing the chassis stuff. I want to be able to show a bare chassis and one with a body on it. And to do that for each body style will consume some space.

Well in the spirit of Barrett Jackson. I thought I would give EBAY one more shot on and auction style ad. So tonight at 6pm the bidding will start at 200 bucks on a 10 day auction.

Last Night at Barrett Jackson a truck similar to mine but on a stock chassis sold for 140k.

Yeah but I decided to stay here and focus on some customer projects, instead of going to the show. I still think I made the right decision by staying.
