View Full Version : Baer SS vs. SSBC
This may not be pro-touring upgrade, but I am looking to get rid of my drums and cant really upgrade to larger wheels then my current 15'' TT2's. So it looks like Baer Serious Street or SSBC 2-piston systems. Both are priced fairly close, but what about east of install for a 69 camaro, and quality? My shop told me they have had to do some extra work to get Wilwood systems in, so focused on these two right now.
Thanks,
Tim

I have had horrible luck with SSBC and great sucsess with Baer and Wilwood, and sell those 2 because of it and do not sell the other for the same reason.

Baer ss4+ all the way. great products. I have had several issues with ssbc in the past and no longer sell them either because of the poor quality and horrible customer service. I am a dealer for Baer and can get you a great price on a kit with free shipping.

Baer is great for ease of install and follow up service!!
Also you can fit the TTII's with a bit of massaging.Thats what I did....

I had SSBC best brake package on the track, they lasted 2 laps. I switched to Baer and never had a problem!! Baer, #1 company!!
