Hello, just thought id join up since there is a lot to be learned from others experiences on some of these forums.
I just purchased my 4th 2nd gen. Camaro and already have big plans for it. I totaled my first car (71 camaro) 4 weeks after purchasing it. My second car was a 72 camaro I picked up for $200 and had to learn to turn wrenches, from then on I was hooked. I fully rebuilt it over a years time and built my first motor. After 12 or more run ins with the law the courts made me sell it to someone out side of the county I resided in or it would be confiscated and sold at auction. My 3rd was a 79 Z/28 I bought to fix and sell. I lost interest in this car rather quickly and traded it for a Buick t-type.
I just picked up a 1970 base model camaro that has been garaged most of its life. The body and paint look great but it ends there. The interior need some work, it has a vintage air set up that the previous owner only halfway installed, and a tired old 350.
Over the next year it will be blasted and painted, mildly upgrade suspension, and install a LS376/480 with a T-56 trans.
