Sure dont. From what I can tell, they trimmed the wheel well up and then welded in a new lip. The backside of the lip is filled with a healthy layer of bondo.

The owner told me today that this car still holds the Lap Record for a Maverick at Bridgehampton Raceway..He is still trying to find the Log book ..
his name is Brian Greck..and the car ran with EMRA..in the 80`s
Check out the custom lower spoiler....

Did that Mav break those track records running the inline 6 thats in it now? If so thats awesome. What engine do you plan on putting in the car. Im in the process of doing a 65 Mustang and rather than do the v8 swap like every other Mustang owner ive decided to build a Nasty inline 6. Im using a clifford performance kit on my factory inline 200. Its looking like it should end up with 300 hp and 420 lbs of torque. Its at the machine shop right now. Keep updating us!

I have the motor mounts, they are great, lots of adjustment. These are well built and strong. I can make any measurements if you want.

Looks like you found yourself a hidden treasure. I'm not a Ford guy but I love an old road race car.
Progress is looking great!!

Barry,
Here are the pics, it is hard to get in there with the motor in, but you don't use all three bolts on the frame, just the upper outer and lower bolt, the upper iner bolt gets covered. The measurement from upper and lower bolt is 2 1/4'', and the space between the two upper/outer bolts is 24'', but there is lots of adjustment.
Hopefully this helps.

I thought about getting these for my Maverick but am glad I didnt. Sure there is room to push the motor back to the firewall.. but no room for the bell housing (T5) to move back without lowering the motor. Lowering the motor is not much of an option for me either. Im already pretty low as it is.
