Ive seen multiple pictures of engines running AN style rad hoses, I would absolutely love to do this, but can only find -20 and -24 sized hoses/fittings. Would this create any cooling issues? I would think running a little higher gpm water pump would solve the issue of a smaller hose, just need some reassurance, thanks guys!

Take a look at the actual area you have for flow through your thermostat. It's less than the area of a -20 hose for most cars.

I just redid the engine in a NASCAR and I think I used a -16 hose and fittings ? The thermostat housing was machined for it. Here are a couple pics of the old setup. I used a different thermo housing than the one in the pic. 715 hp with no cooling issue.
