I am working with my cousins 73 firebird project. He has DSE minitubes with 2" dropleafs. Front is stock exept drop spindles.

He is looking for a "budget" wheels. Something in sizes 18-19" x 12" at rear.

What is the widest what can be used at front with stock suspension ? 8" at least.

If you any ideas, let us know. Cast wheels, no billet and no "torque thrust" at any means.

I have 18x8 on the front of my 73 cam. and the fit perfect. I think you could fit an 18x8.5 no problem but 9" wide would be pushing it even though I have seen it I am not sure on BS. My 18x8s and with a 4.5 BS. just for ref.

Thanks Mark,i am sure 8" will do the job. We will measure correct fitment with wheel rite.

The Billet Specialties "Legend Series" would be a good place to start. We have been selling a ton of them lately and customers are loving them. Good bang the buck wheel. If you would like some pricing PM me and I will send you a quote.
