Ty just called, his father passed away unexpectedly last night in his sleep. AS friend I'm asking for well wishes, thoughts, prayers etc for him and his family. Hes currently driving across Ohio to be with his mom. And his family is trying to get there from GA. Please say a prayer or send a good thought his way. he will be away from a computer but I can pass on anything to him.

I talked to Ty last night about 6:30. He made it over to his parents house. His mom is not taking it to well, and Ty's is having to be strong and the leader of the family to get everything taken care of. Hes going to call me today to let me know of the arrangements.
I thought of putting together a flower arrangement or donation to a charity of there choice in honor of Lat-g and Pt.com. If your interested in donating please let me know

James L. Ingle passed Wednesday morning... they think his heart went in his sleep. Mom found him in his chair when she went to wake him to tell him she was leaving for work... He was 73.
Although my dad has two other sons, I'm my Mom's only child... and God had a plan for my Dad's departure as the Air Force had sent me to Ohio for the first time ever in 25 years... so I was able to make arrangements and get from Youngstown to Bryan Ohio in just 2.5 hours! My wife was able to catch a flight and arrive late that same night from GA.
We had a viewing in Defiance Ohio Friday for Dad's family and friends and then made the trek down to Chillicothe early yesterday to have another viewing for my Mom's family down here and a short service before taking him to the family cemetary in Bainbridge.
Mom is doing well and finally got some rest last night. Now it's time to help her sort thru finances and the legal stuff to make sure she's taken care of and help her decide what she wants to do next...
I won't be able to get on here much for the next couple of weeks but I really appreciate all the prayers and well wishes!!!
My Dad LOVED my car and he loved this community... he told everyone he knew about the FREEDOMBIRD and how everyone came together to make it happen! I got my love of cars from him... and for those of you who met him he loved to tell stories about his 71 GTX 440 and his 30 Chevy Coupe with the 389/tri-power! :)
One of my greatest joys is this hobby and the friends here who are like family! You guys are the best!!! :lateral:

Having lost both of my parents -- I know your grief....
There is never a good time.... and even if you know it's coming it makes no difference. It's harder still when it comes out of nowhere.

Thanks again to everyone who offered prayers and well wishes!!!
My Dad's passing was very unexpected! He was 73 and in good health. But, he passed the way he would have wanted it, in his sleep...
Dad was especially proud of this community and the FREEDOMBIRD! He saw it before SEMA last year at Chad's shop and I found a 3-ring binder while I was home making arrangements where he'd printed out EVERY page of the build thread in color!!

He was very proud of the car and of what this community and Chad's guys did to make it happen!!
I just wish he'd stuck around long enough to have gone for a ride in it... :lateral:

Cool pic Ty.
Thanks! It's my wallpaper now...
You guys have no idea how much my Dad loved this community!
The fact that he took the time to print every page of the build thread to create a 3-ring binder speaks volumes as my parents live in the country and only have dial-up internet capabilities!
My Mom said he did it so that he could show anyone and everyone without having to wait for dial-up!
He'd take the binder to the local car shows and cruise-ins too!! LOL
He even told his dentist (ANUG) about Lat-g!
