Has anyone seen the movie " love the beast"
I bought it today, it is so wicked. It is about Eric Bana and his life long love for cars.

Great movie. We are working with a Australian customer building a Unfair based 69 Camaro to run that Rally. I told him I will be there to crew for him if he does it. Absolutely a bucket list item for me!

My buddies and I want to build a car to run up here in the targa Newfoundland. I agree Frank, a bucket list item for sure.

There was a little too much drama about the crash, of course it sucks but he has the re$ource$ to fix it. He seems like a pretty cool guy.

Real cool movie. The interview with Clarkson is pretty funny. 600 hp with leaf springs.

Does anybody know if he actually rebuilt the car?

I was reading the other day that Eric Bana's XB is at Dick Johnson Racing Team in Queensland where they are trying to straighten out the chassis.
I'll have a look on the Ford Forums over here and will post a link if i find anything.

read this thread about the movie last night so i had to watch it. I just finished it. What a cool story. such a shame about the wreck, though. Clarkson was definitely hilarious. Could have probably done without Dr. Phil though...

that's the part I thought was funny- Like- "What are you new messing around with a big old car like that?" I wonder what Clarkson would think about the Lat-G crowd??

I was thinking the same thing, yeah these cars were born with 40 year old technology, but he should take a look at some of the aftermarket companies out there that are kicking it right now..:lateral:

One of my favorite movies in the "Car" collection. It really does capture the essence of how cars like ours are more than just a "car". I sure felt his pain when he wadded it up---very stoked to see that he is finally getting it straightened out---probably had to do two more movies in order to pay for it based on the amount of work done in those pics. Thanks for the pics by the way--that is great that you shared those. Keep us posted if any others show up.
