I think he means 30 rounds mags are legal in all areas, so he would rather not say/

Last I checked scopes aren't outlawed yet.

That gun would get you in trouble in California though. Also am I the only one bothered that the safety is off?

ARs are perfectly legal in CA.. if the lower is an "off list lower".. it's illegal to sell or import mags over 10 rnds here, but you can sell "repair kits" which are pretty much dissasembled magazines.

In other words I could buy this and have the mags shipped to me in pieces.

The AR would need to be modified for CA sale by adding a "bullet button" -- this makes it so the mag can't be dropped without the use of a tool, in this case a button.

The mag release and the bullet button are the only stipulations in CA.

I own a SCAR, AR and several other "evil" rifles here in CA.. you just need to know the rules and how to work around them. :)

I you were in CA you could buy the whole rifle, minus the lower and the parts wouldn't even have to ship to an FFL. Then just go out and buy a lower for $120 and voila.. you have a rifle.

That's how I bought one of my ARs from a guy on here.

Not sure on the shipping to Netherlands. I could find out through a firearms dealer if you are interested.

From my understanding, you can have the mag shipped in pieces but unless you have a pre-ban mag you are repairing you can not legally assemble it. I understand it is not illegal unless you get caught . If I am wrong please correct me. Gun laws here in CA are a PITA.
