Harrahs was dirt cheap, and is on a central place on the strip. I paid $300 for three nights on the SEMA website.

I'm at the Bellagio. They run busses from there and back so I just walk down and sit in A/C and bingo I'm there!

I know....
But they owed me THREE FREE NIGHTS because last year the valet DB busted off the CB antenna on the roof of my dually! I got out to the first fuel stop to top off and went to screw the thing on - and discovered they weren't "nice" and unscrewed it and put it in the back seat... the TORE it off - and were nice enough to pick it up and put it back there! I went back and showed them the mess they made and they tossed me a bone. :unibrow:

I also believe the Bellagio has the lowest elevator push button. Otherwise Greg could not reach the buttons to get to the eleventh floor. He had to go up to the 9th and go up 2 flights of stairs.....:D :D :D :D

Staying at the Westin. They got the heavenly bed, which I also have at home so its the place where I can sleep just like home. Its right behind the Flamingo. Flamingo is also where I jump on the train to the convection center.

They have an app for that!
As long as it's not like the last time I did the New Years Eve fireworks show down there (my roof was the Treasure Island)! Two of us had to carry every single piece of set up - wire - ordinance - tools - lumber etc up 6 FLIGHTS of stairs to reach the roof. Seems the elevators don't go up there! The good news was the shells only had to go up! Man that was a lot of work!

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn back in 2001. I assume it's still there. We walked to the convention center for the show.

Don't mock the CB!! When we went to the ElToro event I got in his truck, and was a bit shocked that there was a cb in there. When I got back I was concidering putting one in my truck. Its better than any radar detector I've ever seen or read about. You want to know where a cop is on the interstate get on the cb and you'll get multiple pin point locations. Of course Greg is a natural at CB lingo. He was talkin to those truckers like he's been doing it for a living.

Staying at the Hard Rock, again. Been staying there for 4 years now, and we love it and have a good time everytime. And if you book early enough its not too bad... last year I paid 99 bucks a night, this year I think it was 120 but I booked the rooms only a few weeks ago. If you go through "sema" you get a discount. :woot:
