Does anyone other than Lokar making a decent parking break handle? Not a big fan of their unit

I'm looking for something compact......... havent searched the junk yards yet, but yes, that is one option...

Ned try Gennie shifter. They are similar to lokar but I think they are a higher quality piece.

Trans tunnel mount.....

With the Cuda, the tunnel is moved to the pass side about 1.5 inches, so there is a pretty big gap between the driver seat and tunnel.....I was hoping to actually squeeze it between the driver seat and the tunnel

So Rodger....are you basically mounting the piece on top of the tunnel?

Do you have any installed pix?

I've never installed a Lokar unit before, but dont you typically have to run the lower part of the untitthrough the floor

I'd like to see the ISIS brackets too....

I plan to mount this bracket on the floor in front of the seat. Tucked up close. Out of sight out of mind. The customer is running a marquez interior and it has a 70 camaro console that would not go well with this bracket.

The Isis bracket is similar to these. It has long flange to cut to length. These parts are just to make you life easier and quicker. Nothing is just bolt in. But If I can save you 4 hours in the garage with a 25 dollar part. That what I'm trying to do, just sell the parts we use over and over to make everyone's life easier. We will have bracket for FAST ECU's and anything else somebody needs.

I'm intested. I'm just trying to lay it ou in my head how it will all work in the car. With that bracket are you not having the bottom of the brake mechanism going through the floor? That would definitely clean up the install

For mounting it in front of the seat how do you run the cables through the floor etc and get the mechanism to pull right etc

I'm sure you guys have some pretty trick ways to all of this. I'd love to learn a cool way to do this other than the standard " cut a holed on the tunnel and drop it through" way

I'd like to mount it between the tunnel and driver seat, down low with the same goal as you Rodger..... Out of sight but there when you need it. I'm just trying to figure out to get it all to work if I mount it there

I was going to run the cables under the carpet and put them through the floor so they can go out to the axle for the parking brake mechanism.

Can the parking brake bracket be made alittle more narrow or does it need to be that wide?

I'm interested in getting one....escpecially if you can make it just a tad more narrow.... I can Paypal you some $$....just PM me...

not my favorite. Throw is very short with not much leverage, but it is still in my car.

I originally mounted mine in the center of the tunnel and ran the cables to the back...but it hit my drive shaft. Covered the hole and mounted it up top, ran the cables on top of the tunnel inside the car and exited the car under the rear seat. The custom console covers it.
