View Full Version : Kwik Performance Brackets?
Has anyone used this bracket to relocate their pwr steering and alt. I was looking into getting a new corvette surpentene drive from PACE and found these brackets that do the same and use your existing pwr steering and alt. It is about half the cost of a complete kit that comes with eveything from PACE.

Haven't used that setup, but I did get their AC compressor mount for use with a Corvette LS3 serpentine setup and was very impressed with the brackets. The hardware (nuts and bolts) could be prettier, but that's a minor quibble. One of the few aftermarket parts I've gotten that just bolted on and worked without modifying something.

I am using them on my LS2. Fitment is nice. My application is a little different. The bracket across the water pump is from KB.

Thank you for the replies and the PIC. I think I'm going with them!

I used their ac compressor relocation kit on my LS1 and it worked slick but I agree that the hardware could be switched out to something nicer.
I called Kwik today to try and get measurements of the alt mounting holes. I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone, so I just left a message. I haven't got a reply yet.
Does anyone have the distance from the mounting holes of the alt? I have a ctsv set up from PACE and want to make sure it is the same before I order. I called PACE they sell kwik as well but they were unsure of the measurement and did not have a unit to measure for me.:lateral:

I'm friends will all of the guys at KWiK. I'll send them a link to this thread and maybe you can get your answer that way. I do know that they are quite busy.

Thanks Mike, I did get a return call and I should have posted that I did. I decided to go with with a complete kit that has alt and pwr/steering pump. I got lazy and didn't want to have make my parts work.

I used them on my big block using brackets from a 94 S-10 Blazer V6 Chevy truck, these do not have the smog pump and are a cleaner bracket, it is especially nice having a late model alternator and A/C. I used some weatherhead adapters from NAPA to adapt to a 69 Camaro power steering pump. The fit was excellent and I highly recommend them.
