Hey guys,

My name is Scott and I'm from Socal. I'm new here but thought I would share my 2 year project with you all.

69 x11 convertible.

Full rotisserie with all new metal except doors and front fenders.

Sent the car to 21st century street machines and had the works done. They are out of business now but they made subeframes for the front and rear that hold c5 suspensions. Huge mini tubs. Amazing frame connectors. Enlarged trans tunnel to make room for the t56.

I used a full z06 chassis that I purchased on ebay with only 3,000 miles.

Bought an amazing t56 from rpmtransmissions with the works as well. cryogenic micropolished gears. bullet proof, silky smooth, and handles up to 800hp

Also, purchased huge c6 z06 wheels 19x12 in the rear and 18x10 in front.

I still need pedal assembly, radiator, custom narrow gas tank, shocks, steering collumn, gauges, and wiring and plumbing.

Money is tight at this point so progress is going alot slower.

I would love any input you guys might have.

Welcome Scott, that's obviously a great build you've got going there.

Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Note: You may have seen this 69' coupe build with complete 2008 Z-06 running gear and suspension already, but if not here's the link...

Looks good Scott!

Sorry to hear that "money is tight". As you know - these builds can take up more than just a few of your loose dollars.
