The September Feature is Mark Stielow's latest 69 Camaro build. We've all followed the build and it's a bad ass follow up to Jackass. Mark passed along a number of action shots, some different build shots, as well as all the tech specs and performance numbers. Check out his Feature page for all the details.

Congrats on the feature Mark, I am sure this car will get alot more hardware and press real soon.

Am I mistaken or arent the wheels Fikse Profil 5s?

Like I have said many times before your builds were a major inspiration for my own build.

After all these years the target is still on your back. Definitely the best one yet. One question, are your performance numbers with KDW's or R compounds? Do you have to shift to hit 60?

Congrats Mark! I am so looking forward to seeing it at Optima!! Will it be at SEMA? Perhaps with all the other Optima cars like they did last year?

Great car. Cant wait to see it in rythym in Pahrump. Congrats on a great build. Should post some numbers that will be tough to beat and stand for a while, IMO.

Mark,

surely, unless GM comes out with an LS10, you are going to keep this car. I know that building is half the fun for you, but surely you must want to hold on to this one. Let's face it, the performance #'s for the street are nearing the limits of practicality. What else could you want in a car?????

The numbers were with R-1s and the 0-60 was with a shift. I moved the rev limiter up in 1st gear to 7000 RPM and now I can hit 60 MPH without a shift.

But, I found out it doesn't matter because Optima is not doing 0 - 60 - 0 MPH it is a stop box deal. Not sure what speed we will hit or the distance.

Thanks for everyone’s kind works on this build. The car has been awsome!

The paint and engine are the high lights. This is the best car I have ever done.

It has been an evolution of learning’s over time and the availability of good aftermarket and factory parts.

There are some builders that have built some great cars, but they might have also built a couple I didn't care for..... With you, I can't say that you've missed the mark even once!

Thanks for being honest Mark. I'm interested to hear your opinion on the BFG's. I've found the forward bite to be good but it's changed the feel of my car. None the less, those are some sick numbers. Hope to race you at the Optima Challenge. Old school vs. New.

Okay Mark -- you've heard enough of this slather...

Now get out there and start another one! Winter is coming! We need something new to drool over!

BTW - I'd gladly trade most of my tools for a little of your skill. :D
