Auto company Dodge recently found itself in PETA's crosshairs after the carmaker aired a commercial starring a monkey dressed up like Evel Knievel. But, unlike many who draw the ire of PETA, Dodge fought back in a most amusing way...

Hilarious. Way to go Dodge.

That's awesome. I bet they would sell more cars if they took a stand like that more often.

They should've left the monkey and told Peta to jump in the lake.:D All this politically correct crap has to go.

I bet they already formed a subgroup: PETIA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Invisible Animals)

I was under the impression that PETA stood for people eating tasty

animals. Well at least that is what it means in WI.

I wish they had gone one step further and pulled a Daffy Duck - when the monkey pressed down on the ignition, HE blew up into a poof of party favors

It is one thing to care about animals, and I would gladly drag an animal abuser behind my car for a few blocks, and then there is PETA which somehow really stands for "nut ball"... maybe People (if we really want to call them that) Entirely and Totally Asinine.

PETA; you people really don't do any good except yank each other's johnson's.They suck up good air that people w/ common sence could be breathing.Dodge should have had the chimp carry a sign that said PETA SUCK'S leave me alone & let me keep working.

I'm all for the ethical treatment of animals.....there is no need to torture them before they are slaughtered......it just toughens the meat. But PETA is a sham. The humane society and (gasp) Greenpeace are much more reputable when it comes to these kinds of things.

I think they should of redone it with the monkey wearing a fur coat!
