I hope Yancy's life insurance is paid up when he gets this back next month.. it's a crazy mo-fo...
We just finished installing our new 416-inch forged stroker and are working on dyno tuning at Magnuson's dyno facility.
Details:
416 LS2
Eagle forged crank
Eagle H-beam rods
Ross forged dished pistons
Lingenfelter GT-9 cam
Comp lifters
Patriot Springs
Magnacharger TVS2300 supercharger
9.5:1 compression
Because we dropped the compression we needed a small pulley to get the boost back up. Went down to a 2.9" but the belt started to slip at 4,000 RPM. At the slip we were at 8.4 psi but down to 7 at the top, our goal is 9psi, although we could go to 11 easily with the CTS-V fuel system we sourced from ADM Performance.
Still, with the slipping belt we made 600.2 rwhp and 609.5 rwtq!! Once we fix the slip by going ot an 8 or 10 rib we should be in the 640/650 range or rwhp. Also, their dyno tends to be about 10% "light" compared to a dyno-jet and we are very conservative on our timing (I think it was only 19 degrees). So in dyno-jet terms we will be at 700 rwhp.. :nilly:
Way more powre than we need, but it's fun to make it!
