I have a 67 camaro and am thinking about mini tubin it. I want to use the Detroit Speed tubs. My question is can I use a stock tank? One person at the machine shop said I can but I was looking and it doesn't look like it will go.
Thanks,
Jon

With leafs no, with quadralink it will depend on what you do with your exhaust. If dump short then should work, if going out the back probably not, tank will need corners notched

You can use it by notching the back corners This is a picture from Mike's custom Cars it shows how he did it.

I hope this helps.

DSE Mini-tubbed here with G-Bar rear suspension. I got a notched, baffled, sumped tank from Ricks. Very happy with it:

Right now exhaust is dumped at the rear axle but planning on going to the rear bumper once on the road.
