Ok,
So this is my first try with making a front tow hook.
It is made of 1/4"thk steel, attached with two 3/8" bolts to the front frame.
Please give me your suggestions.

You need a sticker and it should be a bright color that goes well with your paint. I'm diggin it...

looks like a great effort. My concern would be whether it would bend being so long and extended out like that. Most the ones I've seen are much shorter for that reason, like what Todd did.

Look's great. IMO as long as it is you will need some lateral surport so when the tow truck guy at the track (the one w/missing teeth) hook's up to you at an off angle it won't bend the crap out of it, or your frame horn.

Thanks guys, It was my first attempt, so I want all the ideas I can get.
I was figuring I would need to add something to help with the bending issue, but wanted someone elses opion. I will add something down the length, paint it, and work from there.

You would want the eye Horizontal so as to allow the hook the freedom to pivot...with the eye vertical, unless the pull is coming from dead straight ahead, it's likely to bend...
