The part number for this kit is MI 700 and works in conjunction with our MI 900 and MI 910 door lock installation kit.
The part number MI 710 is designed to work in cars other than 67-69 Camaro/Firebird. Both kits are the same except for wiring the door lock actuators (reverse the polarity of the actuators)

Both kits are $140 plus $12 shipping to the lower 48 states. (price will increase on 1/1/11)

We also have a few kits that incorporate "Driver's Side Priority Unlock" This feature is just like you would find in the newer vehicles that have keyless entry. Push the unlock button once on the remote key fob and the driver's side door unlocks, push it again and the passenger's side door unlocks. Push the lock button and both doors lock.

It is as good price for the amount of product and features that you get. There are only a few systems on the market that give you all the components needed. I think this is the only one that includes door looms. Plus, I have gone through the install instructions and made them easier to follow. I also include a drawing that is in color that shows the wiring diagram.
Some of the products on the market today have very poor instructions. When deciding on which product to use in this kit I based my descision on several things, below are the top 3.
1. Features
2. Ease of installation (instructions and components)
3. Customer service from the company.
I almost wore out #3. I had so many questions through email and phone calls about different scenerios. I try to be very thorough when I ask my questions, even asking the question a different way to make sure I have got it, not to test them but to make sure I completely understand. This company rep never flinched.

Another cool thing about this product is the warranty. It has a year with us and a limited life time with the manufacturer. The manufacturer has been around since the early 70's, so they have some longevity in the market.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but if I have the standard locks, this is the kit I need correct? Are there any other parts needed? Thx

As Mike stated above, the install kits are available for 67-69 Camaros. Other kits will follow. As for now, the next kit that I will be working on will be for the 70-81 Camaros.
In my research I have seen some changes in the 2nd gen latches. I am trying to narrow down the differences to see if I can make one kit for the 2nd gens. This keeps the cost down for everyone.

Back to the original question from Indy Nova. Not a dumb question at all. This Keyless Entry kit will work in your Nova, but the install for the actuators would be the standard way since I don't have an actuator install kit for Novas. By this, I mean you would have to connect the actuator rods to the plunger lock rods. The actuators that are included in this kit come with instructions on how to hook them up to the plunger lock rods. The kit comes complete with everything in the picture and some things that are not in the picture to do a basic install. Also included...wire, fuse holder, fuse, terminal connectors and detailed installation instructions. Due to the features that this kit has and so many options you might need more wire and connectors depending on how far you wanted to take the install, but for the basic keyless entry install, everything is included.

Thanks,
Shannon
