CBB-thermostat?

Hi!
I really need help with how to install the thermostat in my cbb.
Should it open with the flow, against the radiator or should i install it the other way around? Open against the block?
As i said i need help!

it installs in this direction, bottom of this pic in the intake, top pointing towards the thermostat housing/upper radiator hose.
