I'm on the "Wish List" Hah! :hail:

I've got to finish my current project and then I'll be seriously hunting for a solid '66 or '67 Hardtop car.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I am wondering what makes it "look" so much better than all the others? What is so special about it? Not trying to be a dick, just wondering.

look at the pics. the inner fenders look alot cleaner, not just a piece of flat sheetmetal with a couple of bends in it. the down bars are curved for i am assuming rigidity and the frame is hydroformed. it looks totally different than any other than i've seen.

Just to clarify the frame is not Hydroformed, only the camaro unit is Hydroformed, and the bent down bars do not make it any stronger. But the inner fenders are bad ass.

I suppose "better" like "beauty" is in the eye of the beholder. What makes it look better to me is the OEM look and feel of everything. Their inner fenders really clean up the engine compartment.

I'm sure it will not disappoint with its performance either. I can't wait to see their Chevy II Test Car on the track.

my mistake. @columbus i looked at it and the frame looked like it had rounded edges instead of squared off. the inner fenders really look right for the car.

Any pics of this clip on an actual Nova? Yes I checked DSEs website and didn't notice any, unless I'm missing something.

It's way beefier than the other ones on the market, it also has a custom rack built specifically for this clip. The rails are fabricated but they don't look like your typical tube frame and as Rodger pointed out the inner fenders are bad:censored:$$. The first sub is already under a car at DSE fwiw. I think these Novas are going to be smokin some Camaros in the auto-x and road-courses.

DSE has great subframes.
We prefer to do full frames.
Here's a full frame alternative we offer for early Novas. $3695 bare.

more companies need to get creative w/their inner fender wells, like dse did. not only is he dse probably as good or better than anything else, they are ahead of everyone w/their design on the inner fenders. can't believe no one else had done it yet!!!

Not unless this is his car in their booth at Columbus. If it is, it's mean and nasty and built with a purpose and has that unmistakeable DSE detail.

OK, let's see what you and the gang at DSE can team up to build out of a Chevy II..............................;)

I want so badly to build one of these cars with DSE's goodies, but other things are taking precedence at this point in my life. I have to live vicariously through the folks that are at a stage in their life financially that they can do what I want to do. I guess it's a good lesson in patience, which I need (just ask my wife).

I think there may potentially be room for a 9.5" wide front on the '66 and '67 cars. Not sure that it's been verified yet, but I heard some talk of it at Columbus.
