Don't know if you guys have noticed this or not on Wayne Due's website, but it certainly deserves a look:

http://www.waynedue.com/web/cars/GaryGutherys1968C5Camaro/index.html

Gary is a friend of my Dad's and lives about a mile down the road. Can't wait to see this one finished. He also has another first-gen, slightly more stock-ish with a 514hp SBC (freshly rebuilt after dropping a solid roller lifter) that he road races.

I'll try and get some pictures as he makes some progress on the new one, and also get some pictures of his current car. Both Gary and his daughter are members in NCRC (Northern California Racing Club) and are often out tearing up the local tracks.

Wayne is my hero, he can build some chassis. Looks like a hardcore toy.

I've definitely checked out that project on Wayn'e website before. It's wicked, looking forward to seeing it come together.

Looks killer. Those pix have been up for a while. Try and get us some updated photos. It sure would be nice to see one of these transaxle cars get finished.

Curious about that radiator being angled like that. Why is it? And will the front end fit over it?

Yes, CCW "Classics." I'm probably going to end up with the same wheels in 17 or 18 x 9.5 & x 11 on my car, although with black centers.
