HA, HA, cant think of a name for her yet but I thought this was funny anyway heres my speal, Hello I'm Telly Violetto I own Violetto Autoworks in Montello, WI its a collision and hot rod shop. I was picked to go to sema and to the Optima Batteries Ultimate Street Car Invitational the Sat. following the sema show. It's a petty cool thing 50 cars in the world are picked to attend, it consists of a road coarse event, autocross and a speed stop challenge and there will be an hour long tv show televised on the speed channel a couple months after the show. The car were taking is a 78 y88 gold special edition 1247 of these cars were built with a 4 spd and mines one of them, I completely tore the car down and it has a Jakes Rod Shop c6 style front subframe and rear torque arm, Wegner Motorsports is building a 415'' lsx engine, bfg is doing the tires, forgeline wheels 18x10 and 18x12's, big baer brakes, the first ever set of carbon fiber front fenders from Carbon Kustoms. Plain and simple this car is going to be one bad ride! Heres a link to when I was picked http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=433330&id=283142505077&op=6 So I will start posting some pics soon but I want to get a leg up on this thing so its not so boring. I am looking for posible sponsers if you want to get on board let me know I still need alot of parts from body panels, gauges, wiring, weatherstrip, decals you guys get it. It's a big deal and I will promote the hell out of everyone's products p.m. me or call if interested (608)297-7910 Thanks alot Telly Violetto

It was a pleasure working with Telly and Violetto Auto Works. Here is the non watermarked version. We will be updating the render as more sponsors come on board.

Well as many of you already know we had a little bad luck on the track, which sucks I'm sure the car would have done very well. I was running a jerico and the p.o.s. would'nt shift down into 2nd gear no matter what I did I even was using the clutch it would slam into gear and act like an emergency brake sliding the whole car out from under me, I was pretty damn lucky we were'nt at speed I'm sure the car would have been destroyed, I almost shot the rear out of the car and I was going slow so I can imagine what would've happened at full speed. So alot of people looked under the car and came to their own idea what happened but I'm 99% sure the trans was the key problem and I'm sure thats what made everything back there break.
Now my bad luck did'nt end at that, we landed last night in milwaukee around 11pm when I turned on my phone I found out that my truck was broken into where they stopped for dinner, smashing out the drivers side window and taking just about anything they could, luckily most of the stuff was locked in the trailer but they managed to get my new garmin wtf. I kinda wish they would've just stolen the whole rig so I could collect a big insurance check!
On a lighter note the car got alot of attention, we were one of the 7 cars feature leaving sema and we'll be on the cover of phr with some pretty awsome cars. And I'm sure my interview with me breaking will make tv so dont laugh I didnt know if I was going to throw up or cry! Over all it was a great time and I had a blast thanks to Jimi, Cam and everyone else at Optima they are truely a class act. Telly

Really sorry about your bad luck but I think your still a winner just having the car done. I get a lot of people looking for referrals that are out of my area and do not want to ship a car. I do not throw those referrals around losely.
You my friend are on my referral list!

In all add another $500 bucks plus to this whole ordeal. So the car is for sale as of right now!

Got nailed on that one myself but Lisa was driving and we somehow got off with a warning.
FWIW, I have a trailer that is completely wrapped, SCREAMS company names, has renderings. Just so you know, the only thing that trailer ever got me was a stalker trying to get me to pull over and show him what was in the trailer.
So all my trailers are black and no logos now

Telly, You've had such an up and down year so far. The good, the bad the ugly so to say. The TA turned out awesome, too bad on the tranny but there are always races. Considering how quickly you got this together and being invited to Optima you should be proud of your accomplishments. Pat reself on the back and crack open a cold one:cheers:
Not sure if Im reading this right. Did the truck get broken into at Mitchell airport?

Telly ---
I was at Hot August Nights (Reno) -- Sister borrows the truck to run to the mall - broad daylight -- 50 feet from the main entrance to a Macy's store... they walk in and the security camera catches some DB's pulling up alongside the truck -- about 3 minutes later -- they have my dash ripped to shreds - GPS/Stereo out - the controller for my Banks crap - all the CD's - 3 iPods... ruined the back seat (It's a King Ranch interior) by jumping in on the busted glass that was all over the seat.
We drove home from Reno to Seattle with the plexiglass from my "show" sign taped over the window and the dash all exposed.... NONE of it except the seat and the glass was covered by insurance...
I've never been back to HAN since and won't go again. That town is a dump.
I feel for ya man! When it rains - it pours... but all your bad luck is over for about the next 5 years! (keep my fingers x'd for ya).

Well guys I'm up in the air right now do to the huge over budget I went over I find myself in a difficult time I really don't want to sell this thing after all I put in so much work and really did'nt have very good luck and I know the car will be outright fast as hell so I am going to put her up for sale, no I'm not going to give this car away the bre year one cars start at 125k which is crazy and I think mine would blow the doors off of any of there t.a's so the price will be 80k firm I may consider partial trades on complete driving cars. The car is in the process of getting fixed and the stuff that broke at ousci and will be reinforced so they wont break again. Jakes Rod shop suspension, Wegner 651hp 416''ls, fast injection one bad ass car for the money. Again no lowballers thats the price! Thanks Telly
